In order to make the most of your cakes we are offering some hints and tips on how to store them. Read on….
Ambient tray bakes love to be kept under a cake dome on top of your display counter. At night you should remove them from the dome and place in an airtight container – please do not store them in the fridge. Keep them in a cool, dark cupboard.
Sponge cakes also like to be kept under a dome. If you put them in the fridge they will dry out and not last as long as they should. At night they can either be left under the dome or stored in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
Cheesecakes love the fridge and, according to law, should be kept under refrigeration at all times. By all means cover them with a dome at night…but during your opening hours leave the dome off so you can show them to your customers in all their glory!
Tarts and Pies… these products are happy in the fridge!
