Sunday Morning 1st May.  The year is flying in! suffering a bit from Bank Holiday overload and looking forward to things returning to normal.  Holidays are good but there has been a glut of them in April.

Our first blog of the new month.   Sunday morning blogging is back for the time being, and I say that because these past few weeks we have had a run of good weather here in South West Scotland and I am drawn outdoors.   Cycling and walking and gardening are high on the agenda at the weekend these days.  Walking takes us across our beautiful country and a few weeks ago we were in Glen Artney near Comrie in Perthshire.  We are planning on walking from Calendar to Comrie in the near future and long may the good weather continue!   Last weekend( Easter Sunday) we headed over to the Island on Cumbrae and walked round the Island to the town of Millport. 

This past week we had the Royal Wedding on Friday and what a beautiful bride and a handsome groom!  We all wish Kate and William all the best for the future. 

At the Dessert Depot we had another record month in April and we are delighted that our delicious range of cakes, traybakes and cheesecakes continue to wow our customers and they keep coming back time and time again.  We would like to extend a big thank you  to all our customers for their continued support. Thanks also to all our new followers on facebook.  We are now up to 313 followers!

A BIG THANK YOU

We are gearing up for the summer season and look forward to a bumper year as more and more people opt for the "staycation" holiday this year. At least that is what we pick up on the news and if its true I hope it means people will get out and about and visit all of the attractions our wonderful country has to offer and those attractions from beautiful countryside to historic buildings to activity bases holidays are in abundance.

Well the sun is shining outside and the great outdoors is pulling me away from the computer.
