Popping Candy or no Popping candy, that is the big question this week..one of the new cakes we are roadtasting has chocolate coated popping candy sprinkled on top along with chocolate coated sugar pearls ( OGM Cake ) and this popping candy is just aint popping!   Its fine on its own but seems to loose its pop factor when sprinkled on top of a yummy 4 layer choc-a-mocha cake.....will have to re-assess its use, but all in all the OGM cake is a sure fire winner, looks good too! No photos as yet as they will be taken on Wed 25th.   This cake definately has the YUM factor, and samples will be going out to selected customers for roadtasting soon.   In the meantime I have now gained at least 1kg and this week will add to that as the serious roadtasting of the new cheesecakes takes place..*sigh* occupational hazard - but I like it!    

Business continues to boom, we are getting more new enquiries that ever this year, cant help but metion it, we have customers who are unhappy with their current suppliers of cakes and want to switch to ours and we are kept really busy out and about visiting them and was in Edinburgh this week.   I like Edinburgh and look forward to heading back there soon.  Also sending more and more samples south of the border and getting great reviews.

Been tweeting a lot this week and finding it addictive. Got lots of new followers and meeting some real interesting people on there.  Dowloaded tweetdeck and now trying to find spare time to get to grips with it. Also downloaded the app for the iphone....so now can tweet from anywhere..dont know if thats a good thing or not...time will tell no doubt.

This week our right hand woman - Margaret is off on holiday.  She is the queen of the office admin and handles our telesales, order processing and all that important stuff.  Will be confined to office this week on telesales and phone answering duty  assisted by Ellen and Sean ( and of course new cake and cheesecake tasting and evaluating )   Looking forward to it, then leaving the office and coming home to home office and doing all the other stuff which wont get done this week, namely implementing the next phase in the customer loyalty programme which is being developed plus a few other projects which are bubbling under and about which all will be revealed in due course.
